Introduction
Mathah Transport (Pty) Ltd operates the Mathah e-hailing platform, connecting passengers with drivers for transportation services. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mathah app.
Definitions
- "App" means the Mathah mobile application.
- "Driver" means a registered driver on the Mathah platform.
- "Passenger" means a user requesting transportation services.
- "Services" means transportation services provided by Drivers.
- "Trip" means a single transportation service provided by a Driver.
User Agreement
- Acceptance: By using Mathah, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Mathah.
- Compliance: You will comply with these Terms and Conditions and applicable laws.
Passenger Terms
- Requesting Trips: You may request Trips through the App.
- Trip Cancellation: You may cancel Trips subject to cancellation policies.
- Payment: You will pay for Trips via the App.
- Conduct: You will behave respectfully towards Drivers, including no inappropriate exchanges or payment.
- Safety: You will take a selfie 2 minutes before the driver reaches you.
Driver Terms
- Registration: Drivers must register and meet Mathah's requirements.
- Vehicle Requirements: Drivers must maintain clean, safe vehicles.
- Conduct: Drivers will provide professional, courteous service.
- Availability: Drivers will ensure availability for accepted Trips.
- Mandatory: Driver will complete 20 trips per day, pay a standard R5 per trip, and play Mathah Radio.
Payment Terms
- Fares: Passengers pay fares calculated by the App.
- Payment Processing: Mathah processes payments.
- Refunds: Refunds are subject to Mathah's refund policy.
Safety and Security
- GPS Tracking: Mathah tracks Trips for safety.
- Emergency Services: Mathah provides emergency assistance.
- Reporting Incidents: Users should report incidents to Mathah.
Liability
- Mathah's Liability: Mathah is not liable for damages arising from Services.
- Driver Liability: Drivers are liable for damages during Trips.
Termination
- Mathah: Mathah may terminate or suspend your account for non-compliance.
- User: You may terminate your account at any time.
Dispute Resolution
- Support Channel: Users report issues through Mathah's support channel.
- Dispute Procedure: Mathah investigates and resolves disputes fairly.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

Mathah reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
